Department Overview

Peloton Advantage’s divisions of Finance, Operations and Human Resources are housed together and are responsible for activities including all aspects of personnel management, budgetary adherence and analyses across all teams, conformance to applicable tax and labor laws and evaluating/improving techniques and processes for more efficiency, productivity including the maintenance of high employee morale.

Position Overview 

Responsible for relaying incoming telephone calls, greeting visitors and performing diversified clerical duties in a professional manner by performing the following duties.

 Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities:

·       Answers multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages and transfers telephone calls to the appropriate person in an efficient manner.
·       Greets and screens incoming visitors in a professional manner and promptly notifies appropriate person of their arrival.
·       Receives and signs for courier deliveries and notifies appropriate personnel that packages have arrived.
·       Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail in a timely manner.
·       Provide executive support to President and Chief Scientific Officer as requested, including, but not limited to:
  • Travel arrangements
  • Meeting logistics – BEO, meals, room blocks
  • Company event logistics
·       Facilitates office orders:
  • Order office supplies
  • Order and stock kitchen with snacks, cups, utensils, coffee
  • In-house food orders:
    • New-hire breakfasts and birthday celebrations
    • Team lunches
  • Provide back-up support to HR Generalist
  • Assist teams with new business presentation printing and/or binding
·       Operates standard office equipment to include:
  • multi-line telephone system
  • postage machine/scale
  • calculator     
  • facsimile machine
  • computer/printer
  • photocopy machine
  • typewriter
·       Types correspondence and various documents in proper format, proofreads/distributes as assigned.
·       Maintains proper response letters on computer for various incoming correspondence.
·       Files correspondence and documents as necessary.
·       Performs other related duties as assigned.
·       Maintain consistent attendance
·       Maintain timely submission of time sheets

Position Requirements:

Education or Equivalent:

·       High School Diploma or Equivalent.  
·       2-5 years professional experience required in an administrative or general office capacity.
